Frivolity and Nonsense

It seems the country is going to hell in a hand basket. The economy is making some kind of horrible death rattle, we're still in two wars that don't get much attention anymore (oddly), not to mention the wider "War on Terror" - which is sort of the whole point to begin with. Then there's the debt, which just reached 10 Trillion dollars, which is the kind of joke number 4th graders use to place bets.

Meanwhile, I bought myself an iPod Touch. I did this before the economy did a HALO jump without the "O." Now I have visions of sitting on the street with a hobo bag, trying to shove spare change into my iTunes account through the iPod touch. So sad.

And yet - I regret nothing! The Touch is an amazing device. I would have bought an iPhone - if I knew anyone who actually liked using it as a phone - and it didn't cost me hundreds of dollars to get out of my contract. Maybe some day when it improves a bit more and I'm no longer tethered to the Sprint Gods.
