Topics that will be fairly frequent: games and gaming, movies, music, technology (as in gadgets and assorted devices) and computers, the Palm Treo and palm software, Apple and its whizbangs, maybe some parenting thoughts (I am one), random musings, very little politics, and lots and lots of web sifting.
What is web sifting you ask? Well, with the web as big as it is these days, I find real value in people who can point me to things I can use, or that I might find entertaining or helpful in some way. Since I've spent a lot of years spending lots of time online, I hope to pass on this favor to others. Ideally, I'd like to provide several links related to various areas of interest every week.
I also like to categorize and quantify things. In lists. Lists are like a fetish for me. So expect a lot of those. Stuff like "Top 10 Movies You've Probably Not Seen" and "Best Five Books About Writing Ever Written" and the inevitable "Top 10 Top 10 Lists Ever."
Oh, and all of this is subject to change. If I ever get any readers and they leave actual feedback, then I'll (likely) take that into account. Right now I'm essentially blogging to myself...which I'm pretty sure is forbidden in several religions.
Finally, there's what I ask of you, the readers (again, at this moment, I'm talking to just me here and I feel real foolish). Comments and emails are welcome. Let me know what you think, correct me when I'm wrong, add your suggestions to the lists and posts.
One more thing: if you find yourself getting anything out of MSM, see if you can find it in your heart to click on an ad or two. At least I think you have to click on them for it to matter. Google may have figured out a way to scan your eyes from the text itself. But until we know for sure...clicking should do the trick.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you find reason to stick around!
